When Your City Becomes a Hashtag

A video of Dr. Martin Luther King speaking of turbulent times opens up the sermon;
Your preacher switches up the service to allow members to talk;
A member asks "why do they hate us";
Another member says she can't sleep thinking about those officers;
Another member admits they're scared for the lives of their sons;
Your church members who are police officers weep as they are covered in prayer;
The higher the praise flows, the more the tissues are passed;
Your husband breaks down while praying and is comforted by a veteran;
A lesson on forgiveness precedes the communion service;
You tightly squeeze a young man who favors your nephew;
Your sons ask why you're crying.....But you can't answer because your city is a hashtag.
