About Chatty Cathey

Chatty Cathey Writing Services (c) is owned and operated by Shay Cathey of Dallas, Texas. Shay is an experienced, award-winning former journalist who provides writing and editing services to individuals, churches, and organizations.
For years, she has been asked to write speeches, remarks, resolutions, obituaries, and letters of commendations in her spare time. The reaction to the final product was always, "You should do this for a living!" Thus, the idea for Chatty Cathey Writing Services was born.
Although writing remains a passion, Shay maintains full-time employment elsewhere.

Her favorite things are French fries, an autumn breeze, and the laughter of her children.
